The struggle to give up old habbits is not new!

What’s the perfect milk for tea? Most people struggle with giving up their old habbits from childhood – like putting cow’s milk in their tea. But let’s face it why are adult humans even drinking the infant food of another species? Weird! Stupid! Unhealthy! Why unhealthy – because milk contains no fibre, but DOES contain lots of hormones! This is intended to produce a 500kg cow or bull in a very short time – to eat grass when adult – not milk! Is that what us humans should be doing – drinking cow’s milk? I don’t think so!

Why migtp://hormonesht cow’s milk be bad for humans?

First off cow’s milk contains IGF-1 which stands for insulin like growth factor one – plus a load of other hormones – see research paper. I’ve picked that one specifically, because it is a growth hormone. What do we humans have a lot of? Cancer! What is cancer – an unregulated growth of cells. There’s quite a bit of evidence to show that IGF-1 is impicated in cancer promotion – particularly breast & prostate cancer! Meanwhile our f**kwit government says “nothing to see here“!

Other reasons why cow’s milk is bad – no fibre and pus.

Cow’s milk contains no fibre – and fibre is essential for the healthy functioning of the human gut. Yes ESSENTIAL! Most humans consume 20g or less fibre per day – which is woefully inadequate. It leads to constipation, gut inflammation, headaches, poor elimination of toxic matter and toxic pro-inlammatory gut microbiome! It’s worth noting that gut inflammation is bowel and colon cancer promoting! Virtually all dairy is from mechanical milking of cow’s despite the cuddly bucolic images of young dairy maids on 3 legged milking stools! Mechanical milking leads to infected udders which generate pus, and also require antibiotic treatment! Still fancy the bottle of milk? The “got milk” slogan should really be “got pus?” Cleverly written articles like this one from the BBC are really very sophisticated “limited hangouts”. They appear to support the premise of “looking at dairy neutrally”, but in reality subtly work to legitimise it!

What’s the solution to giving up cow’s milk?

My special plant milk replacement combo of course! My view is that oat is slightly too creamy, whilst soya is a little chalky, and almond a little thin. Don’t get me wrong I’d always support using the one you prefer as long as it’s not cow’s milk. But here’s my trick: blending oat, soya & almond milks – results in something almost identical to cow’s milk! The specific ratio is approximately 525g of oat milk, 325g or unsweetened soya milk & 200g or almond milk. This will give you one litre of replacement cow’s milk that you can keep in a one litre jug in the fridge. Handy one litre jugs with lids see picture are available at Nisbets and are generally used for table water jugs in restaurants. I keep filtered water and my milk substitute in the fridge in them.

The Ratios of the 3 plant milks

This will just fit in a Nisbets style jug. If your jug only takes one litre, reduce the quantities a little bit 500g oat, 300g soya, 200g almond
525g oat milk
325g Soya Milk (unsweetened)
200g Almond Milk
I use unsweetened soya because the natural sweetness of the oatmilk and to a lesser extent the almond milk counteracts the lack of sweetness in the soya milk! It really is the The perfect milk for tea – period!
